At the top of my dash I have Tasks + Calendar plus the Scratch Pad, which is great for starting to write without having any extra clicks. There are customizable widgets so you can put your productivity priorities front and center. I currently have beautiful light and airy wheat : ) Just like you can choose the photo and design in your Gmail, you can choose a photo for your Evernote Home. I LOVE a good dashboard where you can see so many things at once! Especially one you can customize. But years later, there are a bunch of new features to make this your daily productivity workstation. And if you work on multiple computers or devices, this makes moving from one to the other or referencing something on the go super easy! Evernote Reviewīack when I first started using Evernote, it was mostly a note-taking app.

In my Digital Clutter Course, I recommend that people choose an organization hub and use it for all of their paper, notes, docs, and references.Įvernote solves the problem of feeling scattered across multiple devices and is the ideal hub for all your thoughts, notes, files, and docs.Įvernote started as a phone app, but now it’s a robust web and/or desktop app that can be used as an all-in-one storage solution. The good news is there are apps that make this process more intuitive. But if I asked you to organize a computer hard drive, many of us get stumped on the sheer volume of files and the endless ways to sort. If I asked you to organize a paper filing cabinet, you’d probably have a few good ideas on how to do that.

And because computers, the internet, and living in email and calendars are relatively new to humans, we as a society are still learning good systems. With so much of our lives digitized these days, it’s hard not to get overwhelmed with all the information we need to save and reference. If we were in a room, almost everyone’s hand would go up, including mine! Raise your hand if your digital life feels cluttered. If you’re looking for a one-stop shop to organize your digital life, check out Evernote! Here’s my Evernote review and all the great features you can use to make your thoughts, notes, and files easy to find, sort, and save.
